Supervision Philosophy:
I am passionate about the growth of supervisees and have provided supervision for interns and new graduates from Counseling and Psychology backgrounds. In individual supervision, I like to focus on a number of domains with my supervisee including:  developing the mentor/mentee relationship, helping the supervisee solidify one’s psychotherapeutic identity, teaching the technical aspects of interventions, exploring transferential and counter-transferential issues that may come up in one’s sessions or in the supervisory process, and presenting cases. I believe it is significant to create a safe and empathic atmosphere, while also creating space to challenge the trainee so that s/he can be a stronger clinician through exploration, insight, and feedback.
